TRIO LINCAN

With their program 'Eastern European Music,' Trio Lincan presents a new music project featuring an instrumental combination of violin, piano, and cimbalom. The exceptionally expressive and colorful music encompasses various styles from diverse composers of Eastern Europe.
Classical music by Brahms, Liszt, and Boulanger is interspersed with well-known Romanian, Hungarian, and Russian gypsy melodies. Starring Albert Lincan, the talented violinist, Florin Lincan on piano, and Giani Lincan on cimbalom, it delivers unique moments with spectacular violin, piano, and cimbalom solos. The sound of the cimbalom and the speed at which the hammers strike the strings continue to fascinate the audience.

LINCAN ENSEMBLE

The Lincan Ensemble, consisting of a quintet (violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, double bass) plus cimbalom and piano, will perform during this first audition a new musical project titled "Musical Journey."
This entirely new music program combines classical music with gypsy music, Romanian music by composers such as Georges Boulanger, Grigoras Dinicu, Hungarian music with romances, csárdás (Hungarian folk dances), and lively verbunk fris ceardas (Hungarian men's dances), as well as their own compositions for the first audition.
